Technician inspecting beneath a counter in a commercial kitchen

Pest control and disinfection

Find the entry route first, treat second. Spraying without sealing the way in is a cost that repeats every six weeks.

Pests do not arrive by accident. They arrive because there is food, water and a way in. A treatment that does not answer all three works for a fortnight, then the problem returns and you pay again.

Survey before treatment

We walk the site and look for evidence: runs, droppings, damage to packaging, moisture, gaps around services, the space behind equipment and under pallets. Only once we know the route and the food source do we choose the product and the method. You get the findings as a written report with a plan of the building, whether or not you use us for the treatment.

Insect control

Cockroaches, ants, flies, fleas, bed bugs and mosquitoes each need their own approach. For cockroaches and ants, gel bait usually outperforms spraying, because the active ingredient travels back to the harbourage. Spraying kills what you can see; bait kills what you cannot. Bed bugs need heat or a repeated chemical programme, with the room prepared properly — without preparation the result does not hold.

Rodent control

Lockable, labelled bait stations are placed at the points identified in the survey, recorded on a site plan, checked at an agreed interval and replaced as needed. For food-handling premises we keep the documentation your auditor or inspector will ask for.

Disinfection

By spray, fogging or UV, depending on the space and its use. For clinics, kitchens and areas used by children we select products with the appropriate approvals and issue a treatment record.

Documentation you can hand to an auditor

Every visit produces a dated report: what was found, what was applied, at what concentration, and what remains outstanding on your side. Companies operating to a parent-company HSE standard usually need exactly this, and usually discover it is missing during the audit rather than before.

Safety and re-entry

Products are registered and used at prescribed concentrations. Before treatment you are told how long the area must stand empty, when to ventilate and when it can be used again. Where there are children or pets on site, that decides both the product and the timing.

Questions we get

Do we have to vacate?

Not for gel baiting. For spraying or fogging, yes — usually two to four hours plus ventilation. You get the exact figure before we treat.

How long until the problem stops?

Cockroach activity drops noticeably in three to seven days, with the follow-up visit closing it out. Bed bugs need two or three cycles.

Do we get documentation for audits?

Yes. Treatment record, product list with concentrations, and a site plan with every station marked.
